Each step builds on the one before, in the same project. The animatic's captions are your script's lines, so they change when the script does.

Start from a logline, a beat list or a full script. Formatting is automatic, and a line in the margin marks where each shot starts. Pick a length, a :60 spot, a short film or a short-form episode, and craft checks tell you when the page runs long.

Storyboards follow your scenes: a board for each scene, with shots that hold its frames. Sketch a frame in the app, bring in drawings and photos, render frames from your 3D blocking, or generate them with Pro.

Play the animatic: each frame for its time, with the script's lines as captions and the sounds you add to your 3D scenes. Or run a table read and hear every character before you record.
